Mahrukh Badar

Mahrukh Badar is a Workers’ Compensation attorney with the Law Firm of Alex Dell. She focuses her practice on representing injured workers and guiding them through the intricacies of the Workers’ Compensation system in New York. Prior to joining the firm, Mahrukh worked for law firms in Boston, MA as an immigration attorney.

Mahrukh earned her law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, IN. During her time in law school, she was an executive editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies, co-coordinator of her school’s moot court competition, and received the Access to Justice Award for Outstanding Commitment to Pro Bono Service. Prior to attending law school, Mahrukh received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Union College in Schenectady, NY and worked as a paralegal for Prisoners’ Legal Services of NY.

Mahrukh is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is pending admission to the State of New York. Outside of work, Mahrukh enjoys traveling, visiting museums, and spending time with friends and family.
